Digital molecular imaging systems developer Gamma Medica-Ideas Inc. of Northridge, Calif., has received an Innovation Award for a prototype imaging system that combines the molecular imaging capability of single-photon nuclear imaging with magnetic resonance imaging. The award was one of three given at the 2009 World Congress on Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering in Munich, Germany.
