JPSA Expansion of HQ Begins

MANCHESTER, N.H., March 8, 2010 – JP Sercel Associates Inc. (JPSA) began construction on the first phase of its 20,000-square-foot expansion of its facility. The expansion will provide the company the ability to meet customers’ increasing demand for its LED and solar laser processing systems, and excimer laser micromachining systems.

The new expansion will double the size of the existing laser production area used to manufacture its high throughput, high precision laser micromachining systems. It will also feature state-of-the-art clean rooms, R&D laboratories to develop micromachining applications and ergonomic office space to accommodate the growing customer service and engineering teams, says the company.

“JPSA has already doubled its capacity for 2010, and increased its staff by over 30 percent,” said Charlie Cuneo, president of JPSA. “This expansion is necessary to provide more manufacturing space for our growing laser systems business.”
