PerkinElmer Inc. of Waltham, Mass., a technology company focused on human and environmental health and safety, has announced that it has agreed to purchase the remaining interest of its joint venture in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and related assets from Danaher Corp. The latter company acquired the joint venture stake and assets when it bought MDS Inc.’s analytical technologies business.
