Ocean Optics Expands 3-Year Warranty
DUNEDIN, Fla., June 28, 2010 — Miniature spectroscopy company Ocean Optics announced the expansion of its exclusive three-year warranty beyond its spectrometers to include light sources and other accessories.
Effective July 1, 2010, spectrometers, light sources and sampling accessories purchased from the company and its authorized distributors will be covered for a full three years against manufacturing defects, regardless of application.
In addition, optical fibers and probes will be covered for a full 12 months.
The warranty covers parts and labor needed to repair manufacturing defects that occur during the coverage period, as well as any shipping costs for warranty-related repairs from US customers to Ocean Optics and back.
