Allied Vision Technologies has announced that its newly founded subsidiary, Allied Vision Technologies Asia Pte. Ltd., started operations on July 1, 2010. Incorporated in Singapore in February of this year, the company will now take over the sales and support activities of the camera manufacturer in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, AVT Asia has moved into large office space to accommodate the sales and support activities. Thomas Lin Xiaochun will act as a field applications engineer, providing technical support to customers and distributors of the region.
