Olympus America of Center Valley, Pa., has entered into an agreement to purchase Bacus Laboratories Inc. of Lombard, Ill., a developer of virtual microscope slide technology and software. The acquisition will enable the Pennsylvania-based company to provide one-stop imaging solutions to clinical labs. Bacus will become a subsidiary but will retain its name and all employees.
