Acrongenomics Inc. of Geneva and Molecular Visions Ltd. of London will combine efforts to develop and commercialize portable point-of-care diagnostic equipment for medical testing. Potential tests include those for diagnosing diabetes, drug abuse, sexually transmitted diseases and cardiovascular diseases. The partnership will draw on the British company’s patented diagnostic chips, technology that incorporates microfluidics and organic semiconductor devices.
