Peptide resource
AnaSpec Inc. has released its catalog “Peptides
2006-2008,” which features amyloids, enzyme substrates and inhibitors, and
FRET, dye-labeled and phosphopeptides. In the downloadable document, peptides are
grouped according to families and arranged alphabetically. A short introduction
to each family is included along with literature references, sequence, molecular
weight, product amount (based on gross weight), and absorption/excitation and emission
wavelengths for dye-labeled or FRET peptides. Among the options for finding peptides
in the catalog are searching by sequence, catalog number, research interests or
in the product index. Technical information on choosing a peptide sequence and on
FRET donors and quenchers is provided.
