Hologic Inc. of Bedford, Mass., has entered into an agreement to purchase Suros Surgical Systems Inc. of Indianapolis, a developer of devices used for minimally invasive biopsy and tissue excision. The Indiana-based company’s products include percutaneous automatic vacuum-assisted breast biopsy systems, ancillary breast biopsy devices and biopsy site markers.
