LightPath Technologies Inc. of Orlando, Fla., an optical components and assemblies manufacturer, has completed a $750,000 Phase II SBIR contract award from the US Navy, under the direction of the Air Force Research Laboratory. The company developed large-diameter molded infrared aspheric lenses, which it sells along with its thermal imaging assemblies as part of the larger thermal imaging, thermography and gas sensing markets.
