Nov 2010
In Santa Clara, Calif., laser-based products maker Coherent Inc. announced the shipment of its 1000th Chameleon laser for multiphoton excitation microscopy. Key in bioimaging applications, the “one box” device provides biologists with widely tunable push-button femtosecond output with pulse characteristics that can be modified in seconds. To develop the product, the company said it worked closely with both the user and manufacturing communities.
