The Optoelectronics Research Center has purchased the DPN 5000 System from Illinois-based NanoInk. The instrument will be used for fabricating nanostructured photonic metamaterials and sensors. The Optoelectronics Research Center is based at the University of Southampton in the UK and comprises more than 30 groups working in fields ranging from optical materials discovery and fundamental photonics to light generation and advanced optical fiber technologies. The DPN 5000 is housed in the university's new Mountbatten Building cleanroom and laboratory complex. For more information, visit: www.nanoink.net or www.orc.soton.ac.uk
