Success, N.Y., has established Canon Information and Imaging Solutions Inc., a wholly
owned subsidiary dedicated to expanding service to businesses. The unit will focus
at first on accelerating the growth of sectors such as business process optimization,
security services, and imaging and records management. From there, it intends to
expand its business-focused software, middleware and other services. The subsidiary
will offer products and services related to enterprise resource planning and cloud
computing technologies. It will leverage the parent company’s distribution
channels. For select technologies and services, it will drive its own direct-selling
efforts and pursue new partnerships with system integrators.
