Vytran hires Terceiro as European Sales Manager

MORGANVILLE, N.J., Oct. 7, 2011 — Vytran, a supplier of optical fiber splicing and processing solutions, has hired Fernando Terceiro as its European sales manager. Terceiro brings more than 15 years of combined experience in technical customer support, business development and sales management, particularly in the optical fiber splicing business.

Terceiro joins Vytran from marine data services and products company ChartCo Ltd., where he was channel manager. He has also been the UK and Ireland sales director for Draka Communications. Previously, Terceiro spent nearly eight years as the UK, Europe and Middle East sales manager for Fujikura Europe, Ltd., where he developed the company’s optical fusion splicing business.

Vytran is an innovative supplier of semiautomated and fully automated fiber fusion splicing and glass processing solutions for the telecom, fiber laser, sensing, medical, aerospace, and specialty fiber products markets. It is part of NKT Photonics Group.
