Albuquerque N.M.-based CVI Laser Optics, an Idex Optics and Photonics (IOP) platform with applications including the life sciences, has appointed Laser21 as the sole distributor of its optics products in Singapore and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Laser21 has more than 10 years of experience distributing lasers, optical metrology systems and photonic products in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Brunei. The announcement comes just one month after IOP announced that CVI Melles Griot would rebrand as two companies: CVI Laser Optics and Melles Griot.
