The MLSC award includes $7.7 million for building design and construction and $2 million for equipment, including cutting-edge tools for precise measurement, precision analysis, microscopy and rapid 3-D prototype printing.

The facility will enable shared research, early-stage production, commercialization and workforce training for life sciences companies and related businesses. Located in the 52-acre William Stanley Business Park, the center has tenant availability for both startups and established businesses.
