Beaupré Joins IPG Sales Team

OXFORD, Mass., Oct. 31, 2016 — Fiber laser developer IPG Photonics Corp. has appointed John Beaupré as its industrial laser systems sales manager in North America.

Beaupré comes to IPG with more than 30 years in the laser industry, having spent the last 16 years growing Amada Miyachi America's laser systems business in the U.S. and Canada. In his new role, Beaupré will share IPG's automated laser welding, cutting and drilling solutions with companies throughout North America.

"I am excited to start this new opportunity with IPG and look forward to working with the team to further promote our extensive product line of lasers, beam delivery and systems solutions,” Beaupré said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on industry leading technology and a highly successful vertical integration business model."

IPG is a developer of high-power fiber lasers and amplifiers.
