PITTSFIELD, Mass., June 19, 2017 — The deadline for Industry Beacon nominations is approaching — but it's not here yet. We are accepting nominations through July 3, including nominations in our Leadership and Entrepreneurship categories.
If you know someone whose leadership and vision have inspired you, recognize his or her contribution through an Industry Beacon nomination. And if you know someone with the determination and courage to succeed as an optics/photonics entrepreneur, they deserve recognition! Let us know why he or she should be an Industry Beacon award recipient.
We’ll share their success stories in the September issue of Photonics Spectra.
Here’s how we've defined these two categories:
Entrepreneur: Someone who has cultivated an emerging technology that promises to significantly impact the industry.
Leader: C-level individual who has led a photonics company or division that has had an impact on the industry.
We know these definitions hardly touch the surface of the qualities and accomplishments of the nominee(s) you may have in mind, so tell us more about your favorite leader or entrepreneur in a convincing 250 words or less.
