Johan Lodenius is the newest member of IR sensor developer JonDeTech Sensors AB’s board of directors.

Lodenius has more than 20 years of leadership experience in global telecommunication and semiconductor corporations.

“Mr. Lodenius’ international experience is invaluable for us in our future global commercialization,” said Robert Ekström, CEO of JonDeTech.

JonDeTech develops and markets IR sensor technology based on nanotechnology for consumer electronics and mobile phone mass markets. Lodenius is the former senior vice president of marketing and product management for semiconductor and telecommunications developer Qualcomm, where he drove the marketing of turnkey chip and software solutions for cellphone manufacturers.

”As a result of a breakthrough in nanotechnology research, JonDeTech has developed and patented a completely new type of IR sensor that has the potential to become leading in the global marketplace,” Lodenius said. “I look forward to contributing to this. JonDeTech’s IR sensors are down to a tenth as thick as conventional sensors and can be manufactured in high volumes at low cost, which opens a multitude of applications.”
