Jeff Beck and Brian Lee have joined the North American sales team for WiZ Connected Lighting Co. Ltd., a provider of advanced lighting control systems. “Brian and Jeff bring with them more than 30 years [of] experience across both the lighting and wireless industries,” said Jerome Leroy, co-founder of WiZ. “As we continue to grow the OEM side of our business, which was recently boosted with the unveiling of our new WiZ Connected partnership program, Brian and Jeff will play a key role in building a part of our business that has great growth potential in this important market.” As director of OEM and alliances for WiZ, Beck will develop new partnerships and alliances within the lighting marketplace, particularly with lighting OEMs. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the lighting industry and joins WiZ from Terralux, where has was director of sales for OEM markets. Lee joins the company as the director of sales in the U.S. and Canada. His responsibilities include driving new customer acquisition, sales training, operational management, and leading postsale support. Lee has worked in the wireless industry for 18 years and joins WiZ from Alcatel, where he guided the previously unknown brand to become one of the most successful OEM companies in North America. He started his career with T-Mobile USA, where he handled new market development and program launches, before moving into a channel management role. WiZ is a developer of smart lighting control systems for consumer and professional markets.
