Fujitsu Providing DWDM Gear for 360Networks in Europe

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada, Feb 1 -- Fujitsu Network Communications Inc. said that it is supplying 360networks with dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) equipment for the company's fiber optic mesh network in Europe.
Fujitsu will deploy the equipment on 360networks' 10-Gb-capable system between more than 20 cities in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Holland and Denmark. The system enables transparent transport for 360networks' leading broadband network services.
Fujitsu Network Services is now providing full equipment installation, turn-up, service and support on orders of approximately $50 million placed by 360networks in the third quarter of 2000.Physical Optics Spins Off Broadata Communications TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 1 -- Physical Optics Corp. has spun-off of its fiber optic communications products group and named it Broadata Communications Inc.
