KITCHENER, Ontario, March 7 -- Meikle Automation Inc., a leader in manufacturing equipment automation, announced it has formalized an acquisition of Electro-Mechanical Specialties Inc. of Sanford, N.C. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Meikle said the addition of EMS Automation will position it to compete strongly in the North American automation market. This newest acquisition represents the fifth operating division of Meikle Automation Inc.
