Quantum Cascade Laser Improves Smoke Analysis

Understanding the exact chemistry of smoke could guide the development of tobacco products. Mid-infrared laser spectrosco-py is a well-established analytical method that can provide accurate measurements of gaseous constituents in cigarette smoke.
