Alpine Research Optics (ARO), of Boulder, Colo., announced it has received an order valued at over $1 million to supply laser optics to the National Ignition Facility (NIF) project at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The contract, which runs through 2007, is for a variety of components, such as lenses, mirrors and partial reflectors, for the project's injection laser system.
