CTI Molecular Imaging Acquires ImTek

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 8 -- CTI Molecular Imaging Inc., a provider of positron emission tomography (PET) equipment, molecular imaging biomarkers and services, announced today it has acquired ImTek Inc., maker of MicroCAT scanners, micro-computed tomography (CT) systems used for small-animal imaging in medical research. The acquisition price for ImTek was $3.75 million, plus the potential for incentive payments.
