The National Network for Electro-Optics Manufacturing Technology has named Raymond Wick as its executive director. He had served as chief scientist for the Space and Missiles Technology Directorate of the US Air Force Phillips Laboratory in Albuquerque, N.M. In his first duty as the group's executive director, Wick plans to work with the US Navy to pinpoint its most urgent electro-optic technology needs. He will then evaluate technology development proposals from the consortium's members.
