Corning, OSA Foundation Announce Student Competition

Corning Inc. and the OSA Foundation announced at OFC/NFOEC this week in Anaheim, Calif., that they will establish the Corning Outstanding Student Paper Award Competition, to debut at OFC/NFOEC 2008. The competition is being funded through an endowment from Corning to recognize future leaders in the field of optics. Papers will be judged for innovation, research excellence and presentation skills.
