Basler Vision Technologies of Ahrensburg, Germany, has selected LinX Corp. of Yokohama, Japan, as a local representative for its eXcite intelligent cameras, which it will provide to LinX for resale. Under terms of the agreement, the latter company will sell the cameras in Japan as well as provide training and support for them. Neopt Corp. of Kawasaki City, Japan, represents Basler’s other line and area-scan camera models in that country.
