Jeff Perkins Joins Avo Photonics as Operations VP

Avo Photonics has named Jeff Perkins, a high-volume optical component production and quality operations veteran, as vice president of operations. He joins Avo Photonics from JDSU, where he served as senior technical manager of process development and automation, operations, and then product development. Perkins established and propagated process platforms into new product development teams at JDSU and directed design models for TOSA and ROSA platforms. He has also worked for Epitaxx, Photocircuits Corp. and IBM.
