Mike Splain Named VP at Sun

Mike Splain, chief engineer and CTO for Sun Microsystems' Systems Group,  has been named executive vice president of its Microelectronics Group. A Sun fellow with 20 years of service, he previously worked at Ridge Computers, Vitesse Semiconductor, Encore Computer and Digital Equipment Corp., in positions involving microprocessor and high-end computer systems development.Read full article
