Positron Corp. has introduced a dedicated cardiac PET scanner system. The Attrius molecular imaging system incorporates patented and proprietary software and hardware technology for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart disease. Features include multimode imaging for static, dynamic and gated acquisitions, BGO crystal detectors, a BirdsEye detector wobbling system for increased clinical quantification and a built-in laser alignment system. It has provisions for future PET/CT upgrades and comes with a built-in camera and audio system to monitor patient comfort.
