Eastman Kodak Co. of Rochester, N.Y., has filed for approval of its computed radiography system for mammography with Health Canada of Ottawa. Kodak already sells the Directview CR Mammography Feature — which enables physicians to capture high-resolution mammography images with traditional x-ray equipment — in Europe, Asia and Latin America and has applied for FDA approval in the United States.
