AMS Tech. Pens Deal with Interfiber Analysis

MARTINSRIED, Germany, March 3, 2010 -- AMS Technologies AG, distributor of high-tech electronic and opto-electronic components throughout Europe, has signed an agreement with Interfiber Analysis LLC, based in Livingston, N.J., for its Refractive Index Profiler. According to AMS, the profiler can be used to verify the refractive index during fiber manufacturing, to measure the refractive index for Bragg gratings or to optimize splice processes for mode adaption.
