BAE Equips Military Vehicles with Thermal Cameras

AUSTIN, Texas, March 29, 2010 – BAE Systems, a global defense, security and aerospace company, will provide Oshkosh Corp. with thermal cameras for 2,399 mine-resistant, ambush-protected all-terrain vehicles, or M-ATVs, under a $45 million multiyear contract. The thermal cameras will enable crews to view their surroundings while remaining within the vehicle’s protective armor.
