In Tustin, Calif., !%LightWorks Optics Inc.%!, a custom precision optical components and advanced integrated optics solutions company, has opened a 14,000-sq-ft office and manufacturing facility adjacent to its corporate headquarters. Fueled by marked annualized growth and increased demand from the biomedical, aerospace, defense and commercial industries for new innovative optics technologies, the new facility will help speed product development efforts, optimize testing efficacy and expand production capacity, according to the company. This is the second expansion into new facilities over the past two years.
