Kopin Corp. of Taunton, Mass., has received a contract from NASA worth $600,000. The two-year project will attempt to produce a more efficient nanostructured solar cell composed of indium gallium phosphide. The company hopes to create cells with 20 percent higher efficiency than currently available multijunction versions.Read full article
