Space Imaging Establishes South American Presence

DENVER, Aug. 26 -- Space Imaging has created a wholly owned subsidiary, Space Imaging Latin America, to receive and process satellite imagery collected by the Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites over the Latin American regions. A ground receiving station owned by the Centro de Levantamientos Integrados de Recursos Naturales por Sensores Remotos, or CLIRSEN, in Cotopaxi, Ecuador, has started to receive IRS imagery.
