LG Display Co. Ltd. of Seoul, South Korea, has selected Nordson Asymtek of Carlsbad, Calif., a dispensing, coating and jetting technologies company, as the exclusive provider of dispensing equipment for its LED BLU manufacturing operations in Nanjing and Guangzhou, both in China. Nordson’s automated dispensing equipment installations at both sites are part of an ongoing relationship between the two companies, providing process development and on-site service support. LG Display manufactures and supplies thin-film transistor LCD panels, OLEDs and flexible displays.
