Imagine Optic of Orsay, France, has acquired office space in the Pythagore optics-photonics cluster in Shanghai, China. The cluster, which hosts other high-technology companies, is in the Yangpu District, near 12 Chinese universities that comprise 22 major laboratories, 100 research institutes, 50 members of the Chinese Scientific Academy and more than 6000 professors.
