Jenoptik Wins Display Order in Asia

JENA, Germany, Jan. 20, 2012 — The Optical Systems Div. of Jenoptik received a multimillion-euro optical systems order for flat panel display equipment from an undisclosed Asian customer. Terms of the order were not disclosed. Jenoptik’s systems have been developed and will be integrated into a new production system, it said. The order will be delivered this year. The display order further strengthens the division’s market position developing customized optical and micro-optic systems in the semiconductor and flat panel display segments, Jenoptik said.
