Matsuura Named OSA Senior Science Adviser

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6, 2012 — Anne Matsuura, former chief executive of the European Theoretical Spectroscopy Facility (ETSF) in Belgium, has been named senior science adviser at The Optical Society (OSA), the organization announced Monday. Matsuura will assist with the scientific and technical aspects of OSA’s programs and services, and the strategic development of global relationships, and will serve as the society’s international and national government policy adviser.
