The Phoenix Lighting Devices (PLD) range of next-generation machine lights, first presented this month at Hannover Messe, use optics to provide glare-free lighting in the work area. They can be continuously dimmed or operated in stroboscope mode, and can be connected in series if necessary. The lights also can be integrated with protection class IP67 into machines used in electronics production, packaging, filling, printing technology, and wood, metal and plastics processing. Under the five-year agreement, Jenoptik is responsible for the development and production of the PLD machine lights, and Phoenix Contact will distribute the products worldwide.
