BioZoom Looking for Licensees, Partners

AGOURA HILLS, Calif., June 21, 2013 — Biozoom is looking for licensees or other kinds of partners for its patented mobile spectroscopy technology, the company said this week. The company's first commercial product, a handheld scanner, is a portable device for real-time spectroscopic analysis of biomarkers, such as antioxidant levels. But the intellectual property behind the technology could have applications in optics, nanofiltration and database management, among others, Biozoom said.
