Raytheon Awarded Third Visible IR Imager Contract

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Aug. 14, 2013 — Raytheon Co. has received a third NASA contract to develop a Visible Infrared Imager Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Joint Polar Satellite System-2 (JPSS) spacecraft.
