Edinburgh Instruments Names New CEO

LIVINGSTON, Scotland, Sept. 9, 2013 — Optoelectronics industry veteran Mark Vosloo has been appointed CEO of Edinburgh Instruments Ltd., effective Oct. 1, the laser and analytical spectrometer maker announced Monday. Vosloo joins EI from Oxford Instruments, where he has held various management and senior commercial roles for the past nine years. Before that, he worked in the optoelectronics industry for companies including Linos Photonics Ltd. and Horiba Jobin Yvon Ltd.
