Flir Awarded $50M Navy Contract

WILSONVILLE, Ore., Oct. 4, 2013 — Thermal imaging and detection systems maker Flir Systems Inc. has been awarded a $49.9 million Navy contract to supply maritime electro-optical/IR imaging systems to the Navy and Coast Guard. The contract, awarded by the US Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Div., will support the Navy and Coast Guard’s Patrol Boat Electro-Optics System (PB-EOS) program.
