Lightwave Logic Creates New Organic Polymers

NEWARK, Del., Jan. 30, 2014 — Lightwave Logic Inc. has created a new way to combine multiple chromophores into a single polymer host with a significantly improved ability to generate organic nonlinear optical polymers for optical communications applications. "This unique approach to electro-optic polymer development allows for a greater concentration of the chromophore compound with the selected polymer host,” said Tom Zelibor, CEO of Lightwave Logic, adding that the host is now more accurately a material system rather than a single material. The proprietary process has also created two new material...Read full article
