NASA Names New Chief Technologist

WASHINGTON, April 10, 2014 — David W. Miller, a professor of aeronautics and astronautics at MIT, has been named NASA’s new chief technologist. In this role, he will serve as principal adviser and advocate on agency-wide technology programs and policies. Also currently director of the Space Systems Laboratory at MIT, Miller joins NASA through an intergovernmental personnel agreement with the university.
