Imaging Researchers Jacopo Bertolotti, Daniele Faccio Awarded Leverhulme Prizes

LONDON, Oct. 29, 2015 — Two U.K. professors have been awarded £100,000 (about $153,000) Philip Leverhulme Prizes in recognition of their work with light-based imaging. Dr. Jacopo Bertolotti of the University of Exeter in England was recognized for his work in light multiple scattering and imaging in turbid media. His research focuses on light wave transport and light propagation control. He has a master's degree and doctorate in physics from the University of Florence in Italy.
