EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, Dec. 18, 2015 — Startup nanofabrication foundry Nanophab, a spinoff of Eindhoven University, has begun operations at the university with a goal of establishing its own facilities. The foundry will produce nanoscale-feature photonics products with advanced light-emitting materials such as the III-V semiconductor materials GaAs, AlGaAs, InP and InGaAs. Nanophab will also leverage its relationship with the university to access 800 m2 of cleanroom facilities and other services for the first phase of development. Because Nanophab won't produce its own proprietary products, instead offering prototyping...Read full article
